PETICION PARA SUDAMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone in South America
This is a petition for bringing The Cure to South America as part of the current 4 World Tour that is almost comlete...? (there are just South American dates missing), As you may know The Cure has been in the past in South America but long ago and just in two places. Argentina in 1985 and in Brasil in 1996 so South American fans are really missing the band. Mr Robert Smith and Co. had given us South American fans in the past many promises of comming to "any" country by the end of the world but nothing had happened until now. This is the time Mr Smith and Co.!.
There is no more countries in the world left to tour ( Europe and United States) but these countries forgotten in the South. The new album is gonna come up hopefully by September the 13th this year so what about a long trip to exotic places?. South America is not how it was in the past. in the year 1985 The Cure played in Argentina when there was a war going on between Argentina and U.K. back then it was a HEROIC and OUT OF the BLUE act for showing that war is a waste of time where you just lose and when they played 100 Years it was in a place where there was just hatred in both countries . Now they should play 100 years in a country that is away from that. Then later on they played Brasil where there was poverty and still is but there still the right to listen to good music and they fulfilled that right for them back then. Now they never played in Chile and im a Chilean myself, and i know that there is much people that is gonna say,, is this real? when they gonna come because they are a living myth and every weekend there is a cure party going on somewhere.
some places in South America are very safe and there are countries that are going forward into development .sure that there is many things to solve still but i would say that much people there are enough intelligent,sensitive and melomanic that would be delighted to listen to a live performance.
So please sign this petition if you want The Cure to play in S.A It doesnt matter which country they play because sure they would play in at least 3 of them . thank you very much!!!
pd: when i have thousands signatures i will forward this petition to some one close to them.
I myself had the time to assist to Wembley and met personally Mr Robert Smith and Co. but i want to see them play in the country where i discovered THe Cure when i was a 4 year old stealing my parents friend cassetes and playing them on my frist sony.

hola a todos en Sud America
Esta es una peticion para traer a The Cure a Sud America como parte de su 4 World Tour 2008 el cual esta casi completo solo quedan fechas para Sud America. Como ya lo sabran The Cure se han presentado en el pasado en Argentina en el anio 1985 y en Brasil en el anio 1996. Entonces los Cure FANS en Sud America estan realmente ansiosos de tener a The Cure tocando en Sud America. Robert Smith y compania en el pasado nos han dado muchas promesas de venir a alugn pais de Sud America pero ahun no ha pasado nada. Este es el tiempo senior Smith!. No hay mas paises en el mundo que queden por tocar exepto estos paises olvidados al sur. El nuevo album vendra a la venta si Dios quiere este 13 de Septiembre asi que seria un buen tiempo para que ellos viajen a lugares exoticos no?. Sud America no es como fue en el pasado, las guerras de antanio terminaron, los paises estan en desarrollo , la gente cada vez tiene mas educacion y cada vez disfrutan mas de la musica. Como recordaran en el anio 1985 The Cure se presento en Argentina en medio de turbulencias entre Inglaterra y Argentina y a pesar de esto ellos se presentaron para mostrar su musica y para revelarse en contra de la guerra que no va a nada cuando tocaron cien anios lo hicieron en medio del dolor y de la ira y odio entre Ingleses y Argentinos ahora seria perfecto que tocaran en pleno 2008 cien anios en medio de gente que cultiva y mantiene la paz. En 1996 The Cure toco en Brasil en medio de la pobreza que hubo y se mantiene en una medida menor hoy pero ahun real y dolorosa, pero a pesar de esto les dieron el derecho a los Brasileros de escuchar buena musica. Nunca han ido a Chile pero como yo soy Chilena entiendo que en Chile hay muchisimos fans que tomarian la venida The Cure como algo irreal ,surreal, etc. Porfavor si eres de cualquier lugar latino Americano firma esta peticion para traer a The Cure a Sud America ,no solo tu,tu amigo,tu mama,tu gato... cuando junte unas miles de firmas hare llegar esta peticion a alguien cercano a la banda, entonces depende de ustedes.
Yo ya he tenido el placer de asistir a Wembley este anio y de conocer personalmente a Mr Smith and Co.
pero espero ver a The CURE TOCAR EN mi pais de origen y sentir la gran apasionada audiencia que seria la Sud Americana.

THE CURE RARITIES : all the argentinians fans remember the unforgettable shows from
1987, there was violence and chaos,
what memories have from these shows in buenos aires??
LOL : I loved our time in Argentina in 1987! All the people were so
pleased to see us and we were excited to play. There were some
problems mostly I recall because in the places we played the local
promoter had erected very high fences n front of the stage which made
it hard for people to see. Naturally enough they thought it was
unfair that they couldn't be close to us so they removed the fences!
THE CURE RARITIES : in Argentina its very hard to fine the levinhurst albums in records
stores, only few people listen to in internet, please tell me about
the creation of levinhurst, the sound , the influences, etc
LOL : Levinhurst is a band I formed some years ago .With my wife Cindy
Levinson .We have made two albums so far and toured here in the US a
few times.
We are currently recording our third album with Michael Dempsey (
Original cure bassist)
It sounds like a path The Cure may have taken but didn't so its very
accessible to Cure fans I feel.
THE CURE RARITIES : recently you play records in a radio station with michael dempsey,
please tell me about the new album from levinhurst and the
participation from michael on this.
LOL : It feels good to make a record with Michael now we are in our
middle years. It feels like the right thing to do with someone I have
know since I was 11 years old. I feel that people will hear that in
the music.
THE CURE RARITIES : recently you play drums with the curse a tribute cure band from
usa, what do you feel play again this songs?
LOL : Yes, and tomorrow again! Its fun to play the old songs and it
reminds people that Im not dead and I have respect for cure fans!
