Our favourite band, The Cure, is releasing hopefully. It’s as yet still-untitled 13th studio album.
It’s not confirm if the album will come out on the 10th or the 13th – which could destroy the masterplan of always releasing stuff on the 13th.
Anyway, after the 4 singles "The Only One", "Freakshow" , "Sleep When I'm Dead", "The Perfect Boy", the remix EP "Hypnagogic States" and the planned Live-DVD of this years Paris Show, from the 12th March 2008, we have already enough reasons to party and celebrate!

PRESENTACIÓN ESPECIAL EN YOUTUBE
Este sábado 2 de Agosto YouTube tendrá en exclusiva una presentación especial de “PORTISHEAD EN PORTISHEAD”.
Un concierto filmado el 8 y 9 de Diciembre del 2007 donde la banda presenta 7 canciones de su álbum ‘THIRD’. Este concierto de 31 minutos de duración, fue grabado en la Escuela Gordano en la ciudad de Portishead, escuela a la que asistió Geoff Barrow, integrante de la banda.
You Tube lo trasmitirá a las 5pm tiempo de Londres e incluirá un link al canal de la banda en YouTube que alberga todos los videos, epk’s y documentales del trío favorito de Bristol.

SIMPLES EDITADOS EN ARGENTINA EL 7 DE AGOSTO !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Cure presenta los singles "The Only One" y "Freakshow" - Lanzamiento 7 de Agosto ------ Universal Music
The Cure, una de las bandas más referenciales del pasado cuarto de siglo, programó el lanzamiento de 4 singles previos al lanzamiento de su próximo álbum full a editarse mundialmente en el mes de Septiembre, este será el primer álbum con temas originales desde el año 2004 que se editó el disco The Cure.
Estos singles tienen lado A y lado B. Los lados B son exclusivos del single y no aparecerán en el álbum full.
“The Only One” el primer single de los cuatro programados para dar la bienvenida en Septiembre al álbum n°13 de The Cure incluye el B-side “NY Trip”.
“Freakshow” es el segundo single de los cuatro e incluye el Lado B “All Kind Of Stuff”
Ambos singles fueron producidos por Robert Smith y Keith Uddin.
Como siempre liderados por el vocalista/guitarrista Robert Smith, con sus compañeros de siempre, bajista Simon Gallup, baterista Jason Cooper y el guitarrista Porl Thompson, de vuelta en la banda por tercera vez.
The Cure se formó en el sur de Inglaterra en 1976 bajo el nombre de Easy Cure. En el año 1978 eliminaron del nombre “Easy” para convertirse en The Cure. En Mayo de 1979 se editó el álbum debut Three Imaginary Boys con gran aclamo.
Otros remarcables albums fueron Pornography (1982), The Head on The Door (1985), Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me (1987), Desintegration (1989), Wish (1992), Wild Mood Swings (1996), Bloodflowers (2000)y The Cure (2004). En el año 2006 fue el lanzamiento del premiado DVD, con 30 canciones capturadas por fans , miembros de la banda y profesionales durante el verano del 2005.
